Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), MA, MACP, RP(Q)
My name is Ashley, and I am a qualifying psychotherapist with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I provide compassionate, non-judgemental support for individuals, couples, and families. In my private practice, I work with people who are experiencing a variety of challenges, including: relationship issues, stress, grief, trauma, mood disorders, and difficult life transitions. I am also passionate about supporting those who are navigating issues of self-worth, which often involves softening our “inner critic”, recognizing expectations of “perfection”, and learning to set boundaries with ourselves and others.
I also specialize in supporting clients who are providing care to family members with mental or physical illness. Family caregiving can be associated with stress, grief, loss, and family conflict. Further, the needs of caregivers are often overlooked. I help families to navigate the challenges associated with caregiving and to strengthen their resiliency.
I believe that therapy should provide you with the opportunity to explore the meaning of your experience and develop your own goals for growth. I therefore prioritize the creation of a safe and supportive environment for all of my clients. I hope to be a part of your journey.
